Ten years ago, on July 27, 2006, Minnesota Marine Art Museum opened its doors for the first time. What was once a 3 gallery museum has now grown to include 6 large galleries showcasing everything from contemporary regional artists to groundbreaking artists like Monet, Renoir, Picasso, Van Gogh, and Cole to name just a few. One of the most famous paintings in the world, Emanuel Leutze's Washington Crossing the Deleware, now hangs permanently at the MMAM. Without your support the MMAM would not be where it is today, so we invite you to celebrate with us! On Saturday, July 30th from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM we will be open to the public for $1 admission and all membership purchased will be $10 off. Enjoy friendly volunteers in the galleries to help answer any questions and give mini-tours. Whether this will be your first visit or your 100th, we invite you to celebrate with us and hope to see you there!
