The Valentine's Bash: For the Love or the Arts

A Life Aquatic: Don Frey Retrospective :
As the principal photographer for the Institute of Nautical Archaeology, for decades, Don Frey has brought to light many of our planet's most notable underwater cultural sites. This is the first exhibition of our "Underwater Photography Series," which reveals the ways artists convey information, beauty, mystery, fragility, transcendence and freedom through this medium.
The Legendary Jack Gray:
The Minnesota Marine Art Museum is home to a large collection of works by important Canadian marine painter Jack Gray. This exhibition includes several works from the collection, including some "old favorites" as well as some newly acquired pieces that have never been exhibited at the MMAM.
The Art of the Ship Model:
Among the MMAM's diverse collections is a substantial collection of art inspired by the beautiful form and impressive engineering of ships. Experience ship models, half hulls and drawings that relate form to function.
Community Exhibition: Currency:
"Currency" is a special Community Exhibition brought to MMAM audiences thanks to the generosity of Merchants National Bank. Included are contraband gold certificates, obsolete currency, error notes and other rare and historical currency. Pictured here is a certificate featuring William Windom, who lived in Winona in 1855 and represented MN's First Congressional District from 1859 - 1869.
The MMAM has several free or inexpensive family programs for various ages like Toddler Tuesdays, Art-Ventures, Art Camps, Family Storytelling and an annual Family Fest!
Winona Foundation Bus Fund:
