Alec Soth: Sleeping by the Mississippi

Minnesota artist Alec Soth is one of the most celebrated, awarded, and acclaimed photographers working today. His award-winning book and photography series, Sleeping by the Mississippi, explores the landscape of the Mississippi River and people living along its banks. This exhibition features a selection of 21 large-scale photographs from this captivating series, including images from the upper Mississippi River valley down the Mississippi Delta.

Join photographer Alec Soth as he leads a discussion on his work. Soth will discuss his work in the exhibition Sleeping by the Mississppi as well as other work in relation to his overall evolution as an artist.
