Tours at MMAM
Guided Gallery Experiences for all Ages
Students of all ages will enjoy visiting MMAM for a meaningful and inspiring experience. Trained tour guides will lead students through the galleries for one hour. Admission for students is $2 each and teachers/chaperones are free. Tours must be booked a minimum of three weeks in advance. MMAM is thrilled to offer the Bus is On Us program for school tour groups.
MMAM serves as a resource for the many colleges and universities in the area. Specially trained docents can lead museum tours tailored to your class. Students can also take advantage of Free Student Tuesdays to complete class assignments. Tours must be booked a minimum of three weeks in advance.
Adult tours allows groups the opportunity to explore the museum on a guided hour-long tour. Available to groups to 10 or more, our specially trained docents offer a personalized experience to get you acquainted with the museum. Tours must be booked a minimum of three weeks in advance.
SPARK! is a unique program designed specifically for people living with memory loss and their care partners. SPARK! tours can be scheduled for groups of 10 or more memory loss guests and appropriate care partners or assisted living staff.

Self guided audio tours are available at the front desk and offer additional information and insight beyond what is available in text. The audio tour focuses on a selection of twenty artworks in the museum’s permanent collections, including works by such artists as Pablo Picasso, John James Audubon and Mary Cassatt (see sample below). Audio tours are free for members and for people with no or low vision and $1 for all others.
Assistive Listening Devices
The Museum offers assistive listening devices on guided tours. These headsets allow for a clearer presentation on docent led tours.
